Katherine G. Darling

Katherine "Kate" Darling, age 64 of Lakeville, MA, passed away peacefully Christmas morning, Wednesday December 25, 2024, after a year long courageous battle with cancer. Born Thursday April 21, 1960 in Middleborough, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Darling and Bette (Vigers) Darling. Kate graduated from Apponequet Regional High School in 1978, and spent a majority of her life growing up on Long Pond, she loved being out on the water cruising around, traveling, and living her life to the fullest. Kate could always light up a room and could be found either laughing hysterically, tearing up a dancefloor, or just have an all around good time. She leaves behind her partner Edie Ouellette, three brothers; Bob Darling and his wife Ros of Lakeville, Bill Darling and his wife Jane of Canaan NH, and Brian Darling and his wife Michele of Bonita Springs FL, four nephews, two nieces, and several greats as well as a ton of wonderful friends. 

A Celebration of Life for Katherine will be held on Sunday January 26, 2025, from 12:00 - 4:00PM at the Lakeville Eagles Club 217 County Street Lakeville, MA 02347.
