Kathleen A. (Cook) Frates

Kathleen A. (Cook) Frates, age 67, of Lakeville, MA, passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2023, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. She was the loving wife of Wayne D. Frates. Born in Pembroke, MA, on Sunday, April 10, 1955, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Audrey E. Gomes, and the late Wilbur C. Cook. She was also the stepdaughter of the late William E. Gomes. In addition to her husband Wayne, Kathleen leaves behind her two sons; Martin R. Longmire Jr and his wife Kristen of Middleboro, and Roger A Longmire of Taunton, brother Gary Gomes and his wife Carolyn of Lakeville, stepsister Kathy A. Cory of Middleboro, stepbrother Robert Gomes and his wife CeeCee of Middleboro, and two granddaughters Adrienne Kelley of Taunton and Haleigh (Longmire) Robbins of California. She was also the sister of the late Philip S. Cook. Visiting hours for Kathleen will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 9:00 – 11:00AM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A graveside service will immediately follow visiting hours at St. Mary’s Cemetery on 135 Wood Street Middleboro, MA 02346.
