Kimberlin Christina Humphrey-Kiger

Kimberlin Humphrey-Kiger, affectionately called Kimbo, Kimmie or Kim, passed away suddenly on Sunday October 24, 2021, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, at the age of 27. Born in Brockton, on Monday August 8, 1994, to Kenneth N. Humphrey and Kelly Ann Kiger, Kim was raised by her grandparents, James J. Cousin, Sr. and Evelyn Joann Cousin. Growing up in Rockland, MA, Kim was a 2012 graduate of Rockland High School. She continued her education at Emmanuel College in Boston where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2016, and then her master’s degree from Northeastern University in 2021. Following graduation, she worked for Northeastern University and most recently Boston University as an administrative coordinator. Kim was a member of the Rockland High School soccer and winter and spring track teams, earning her varsity letter in all three sports, highlighted by receiving the Rockland Youth Soccer Coaches award in 2012. She was also a member of the Madd Dancers from Rockland. Kim was loved and respected by so many people. She overcame many obstacles to become the woman whom everyone loved. She always had a beautiful smile to share! May she rest in the hands of our savior Jesus Christ! Kim was an avid reader and loved her cat Mocha and dog Sugar. She enjoyed going camping and swimming and was a communicant of Community Covenant Church in East Bridgewater. In addition to her grandparents Jim and E. Joann Cousin, Kim is survived by her 3 brothers, Richard (Nick), Brandon, and Cory, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Kim will be held on Tuesday November 2nd from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at the Community Covenant Church 400 Pleasant Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333. Followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM also at the church immediately following the visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Covenant Church 400 Pleasant Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333.
