Lea A. (Mahoney) Vermette

Lea A. Vermette 70, of Lakeville, MA died peacefully January 9, 2015 surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Louis A. Vermette.

Lea was born June 9, 1944 in Boston and has lived in Lakeville for the past 42 years.  She enjoyed babies, animals and playing cards but most of all spending time with her family and friends.  She was also a Communicant of Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville.

She is survived by 4 loving children, Louis R. Vermette and his wife Amy, Joseph Vermette and his wife Kimberly, Linda Roberts and her husband Alan and Christina Morgan; 8 beloved grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; a sister Maria Malinowski and her husband Stephen and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Sts. Martha and Mary Church, Bedford St. Lakeville, MA.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 5-8 PM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in Lea’s name to your local Animal Shelter.
