Leah C. Diorio, age 42, daughter of Anthony F. Diorio and Dana L. Diorio, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday September 29, 2021, at her home in Pittsfield, MA. Born in Stoughton on Saturday June 9, 1979, Leah graduated from Brockton High School, class of 1997, and continued her education earning her bachelor’s degree from Boston University, class of 2001. Growing up in Brockton, Leah’s work as an event coordinator and public relations director for several fortune 500 companies brought her to live in Brooklyn, New York, and Boston before moving to the western part of Massachusetts. Leah loved to read, football, specifically the Patriots, cook, go to the beach, shopping, and listening to music, but her favorite was spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. While staying with family in Middleboro, Leah liked to attend the Central Congregational Church in Middleboro. In addition to her parents Anthony and Dana, Leah is survived by her stepfather David Engel of Raynham, brother Christopher Diorio and his wife Jennette of Virginia, brother Thomas Diorio and his wife Elyse of Bridgewater, sister Sarah Follett and her husband Brett of Middleboro, nieces and nephews Caleb, Owen, Autumn, Paytyn, Emma, and William, godmother Ann Avitabile, as well as a big group of good friends. A celebration of life for Leah will be held on Saturday October 30, 2021, at 11:00AM at the Central Congregational Church, 2 Webster Street Middleboro, MA 02346, with a reception to follow.
