Mary E. (Hartnett) Rhode

 Mary E. Rhode, 79, of Lakeville, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. Daughter of the late Francis Kehoe and Arthur Hartnett. She was born on February 22, 1946, in South Boston.

Mary spent many years working in the cafeteria at Boston Mutual and later at the Italian Kitchen in Brockton. She enjoyed shopping, spending time at the beach, dancing, butterfly's and playing cards. Mary was known for her humor, quick wit, and strong personality.

Mary was predeceased by her son Michael Rhode. She is survived by her two sons Charles Rhode and Joseph Ketchum, brother and sister-in-law Eddie and Judy Hartnett, daughter in law Jessica Matthews-Rhode, granddaughters Kristina, Tayla, and Alexis Rhode, great granddaughters Avery, Giovanna, and Harper, and great grandson Jasper.

Mary was also survived by lifelong extended family friends Carol Lincoln, Lisa Robbins, Evan Hartel, Kayla, Maverick, and Austin Lee-Bowens. She will be remembered fondly by those who knew her.

Memorial visitation for Mary will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00-3:30PM, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347, followed by a memorial service at 3:30PM.
