Michael Miscioscia Jr., 75, beloved husband for 39 years to the late Eleanor R. (Fortin) Miscioscia, died suddenly on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. Born on December 7, 1948, in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Michael Sr. and Frances (Laquidara) Miscioscia. Raised in Brockton, MA, Michael had been a Middleborough, MA resident since 1978. A member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 17, he worked as a foreman for Cox Engineering. A proud veteran, Michael served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of corporal. His hobbies included woodworking, yard work, and gardening, with his greatest joy being time spent with family. He is survived by his children: Carrie Lally and her husband Michael of Lakeville, Marianne Lefebvre and her husband Troy of NH, and Douglas Miscioscia and his wife Christine of Middleborough; his grandchildren Ethan, Logan, Mari, Benjamin, and Ellie; his brother Vincent Miscioscia and his wife Gail of CA; and the many relationships he fostered with the residents and staff at Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleborough.
