Natalie Jane (Ventura) Reynolds

Natalie Jane (Ventura) Reynolds, age 85, wife of the late Howard M. Reynolds for 69 years, passed away Tuesday January 25, 2022, at her home in Lakeville, surrounded by her family following a brief illness. Natalie was born in Taunton, MA, on Friday May 8, 1936, to the late William Ventura and Mary (Furtado) Ventura. Natalie grew up in Taunton and attended school there before moving to Lakeville where she has been a resident for the past 60 years. During that time, she worked at the Marion Manor in Taunton as a housekeeper and would work seasonally at Ocean Spray during harvest time. When she was able, Natalie enjoyed crocheting, going to various yard sales and auctions, and she loved scratch tickets. She was also a long-time monthly contributor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Natalie is survived by her loving family; son Howard M. Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Lucinda of East Taunton, son James Reynolds and his wife Jane of Taunton, son Douglas Reynolds and his wife Tammy of Lakeville, son Jeffrey Reynolds and his wife Cheryl of East Taunton, daughter Hilda “Tilly” Leconte and her husband Steven of Rochester, and son Randy Reynolds and his wife Lori of Lakeville. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Britton of West Virginia and Eva Suspiro of Somerset, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Natalie was predeceased by her sister Mary Cornell, brother John E. Ventura, brother Kenneth Ventura, and brother William Ventura, Jr. Visiting hours for Natalie will be held on Monday January 31, 2022, from 5:00-8:00PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday February 1, 2022, at 11:00AM. Natalie will be laid to rest with her late husband Howard in Precinct Cemetery in Lakeville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice of SEMA, an Amedisys Company, 100 Myles Standish Boulevard Taunton, MA 02780.
