Neal Frank Robinson, III

Neal Frank Robinson III, age 71, husband of Heidi M. (Doane) Robinson, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Life Care Center of Raynham, after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton, MA, on Friday, February 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Neal Frank Robinson Jr. and Beverly L. (Briscoe) Robinson.  Neal, also known as “Rob” grew up in East Bridgewater, MA, where he graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. He and his wife first lived in Holbrook where they started their family. After several years they moved to East Bridgewater, before moving to Berkley, MA, in 1997.

Neal’s first job was working for Ray’s Greenhouse while he was in high school. He then worked for Robinson Vending, the family business founded by Neal’s late uncle Russell Robinson. He later worked for Bay State Portable Restrooms, Market Basket in Bourne, and lastly at the West Bridgewater Market Basket.

Neal and his wife Heidi would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this coming May. They enjoyed camping, visiting the Cape Cod Canal, attending and dancing along to Dale & the Duds concerts, spending time with friends and family, and trips to the casino. They were members of the Friends of Shawmee-Crowel State Forest, acting as host campers for many years. They were also members of the Coachmen Chapter 223, and the Good Sam’s Camping Groups during the late 70’s and early 80’s.

In addition to his wife Heidi, Neal is survived by his daughter Becky McAloon and her husband David of Berkley, son Neal F. Robinson IV, and his wife Taylor of Myrtle Beach, SC, sister Gail Robinson and her partner Peter Bierbaum of Bridgewater, grandchildren Tyler and Hanna McAloon, and Logan Robinson, niece Tallitha Richmond of Bridgewater, and his many aunts and cousins.

Neal’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all who watched out for and helped Neal along the way, including the special coworkers, Berkley EMS and the staff at Life Care Center of Raynham, and Morton Hospital in Taunton.

Memorial visitation for Neal will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. Followed by a memorial service at 12:00PM.
