Pamela E. (Meack) Jones

Pamela E. (Meack) Jones, age 67, of East Taunton, MA, passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, following a lengthy illness. Born in Middleborough, MA, on Monday October 7, 1957, Pamela was the daughter of the late Arthur M. Meack Jr and Jane C. (Davis) Meack. She attended school in Lakeville and was a lifelong resident of East Taunton. Pamela worked for 25 years at Alden Shoe Company. Prior to that she was a certified nurse’s aide for Marion Manor in Taunton. Pamela was a very active person who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing the slots at the casinos. Twin River Casino being her favorite. Pamela is survived by her daughter Jennifer Jones and her fiancé Brian Strassel of Berkley, son Richard Meack and his fiancé Ashley Reynolds of Acushnet, brother James Libby and his wife Denise of Fitchburg, sister Cheryl Reynolds and her husband Jeffrey of East Taunton, sister-in-law Robin Meack, brother Donald Meack and his wife Debbie of Taunton, , sister Gertrude Meack of East Taunton, brother Mike Meack and his wife Dolores of Taunton, grandchildren Mekiael Auguste and her boyfriend Peter Merry, Myesha Auguste, Sevyn Johnson, Deihanna Meack, and Mia Dossantos, great grandchildren Sofia Jimenez, Selena Jimenez, and Piper Merry, along with many nieces and nephews. Pamela was predeceased by her daughter Becky Westgate, brother Arthur Meack III, and Cindy Meack. Visitation for Pamela will be held on Saturday November 9, 2024, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM, at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. Pamela will be laid to rest in Precinct Cemetery in Lakeville following the funeral service.
