Patrick J. Stone

Patrick J. (Pat) Stone, age 63, of Brockton, passed away on September 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of his partner of eleven years, Kim Hovestadt. Pat was the son of the late Rita Stone Calvert and the late Norman R. (Joe) Stone. He attended schools in West Bridgewater and later moved to Brockton. If you have eaten at or driven by the Italian Kitchen in Campello during the past forty years, you have seen Pat outside taking a break. Thank you for the many waves, honking horns, and shout outs. He loved you all!

Kim and Pat’s niece, Amy, his sister, Peg, his brother-in-law, Alan, and his good friend, Jose, all helped and cared for him during his cancer journey. Katy, from the hospice department of the Brockton Visiting Nurses Association, is a wonderful person and we thank her for the care she provided.

Pat was predeceased by his brothers, Chuck, Rick, and Tom. In addition to his sister, Pat is survived by his brothers, Bob and Bill and their families, sons Kyle, Kory, and Kevin, eight nieces and nephews and their families.

Pat’s memory will always be a blessing.

A memorial service for Patrick will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00AM, at the George E. Keith Park, 1234 Montello Street, Brockton, MA 02302. Pat's burial will be held privately. In Lieu of flowers, please remember Pat by sharing a smile and being kind to others.
