Paula F. Carey, 68, of Lakeville, MA, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. Born in Boston, MA, on Sunday, August 19, 1956, she was the daughter of John “Jack” F. Carey and Catherine (Noreen) Vierkant. A class of 1974 graduate of Braintree High School, Paula continued her education, earning her bachelor’s degree from Fisher College in 2004. One to never slow down, Paula showed it in her everyday life. She ran her own restaurant (Andrew’s Restaurant) in Middleborough, MA, from 1986 – 2017. Following her father’s passing in 2005, she took over the family real estate company and owned and operated Superior Taxi of Middleborough since 2012. Paula loved to work in her garden, planting flowers and coming up with unique yard designs. She loved to decorate her yard for almost every single holiday. She also enjoyed staying home to watch a good movie and the Boston Red Sox games. Paula was devoted to her community. She would donate to the local Police and Fire Departments, was always there to help people in need and cared for the environment. Paula is survived by her son Andrew Peasley and his girlfriend Linda of Plainville, her mother Catherine of Pahrump NV, her four brothers Gary, Scott, Jay, Mark and their families, her partner Paul Gagne of Lakeville, and cared for Alex and Tina. Services for Paula will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00PM followed by a funeral service at 7:00PM.
