Raymond B. Rodriques

Raymond B. Rodriques, III, age 39, of Fall River, MA, peacefully passed away in comfort following a brave seven-year long battle with brain cancer on Saturday March 26, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Born on Thursday February 24, 1983, in Fall River, MA, Ray was the son of the late Donna (Salt) Rodriques. Ray is survived by his sister Brooke (Salt) Huchel and her fiancé Sara Zeblowsky of Middleboro, MA, his nephew Ethan Huchel, brother-in-law Geoffrey Huchel of Fall River, MA, aunt & uncle Tina and Alan Braga of Fall River, MA, and cousins Brian, Valerie, and Richie Braga also of Fall River, MA. Ray grew up in Somerset and Middleboro, MA, and attended Durfee High School in Fall River, MA. Following high school Ray joined Job Corps in Grafton, MA. Prior to his illness, Ray worked in customer service, but loved working in the factory the most. Ray made people smile everywhere he went. Even at the most challenging of times, he stayed strong. Ray was joking all the way to the end. Ray was “loud”, jovial, quick witted, and always sarcastic. A gentle giant with a heart of gold, Ray loved animals, music, metal, horror, anime, movies, and food! In his leisure time, Ray wrestled under the name Ruckus for X-Generation and truly enjoyed the company of his many friends. He was a proud pagan. Ray loved his family, but more than anything he had a special place in his heart for his beloved nephew Ethan. People often mistaken Ethan as Ray’s son because they look so much alike. He will be greatly missed, and already is!!
