Robert Lee Andersen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Lee Andersen, age 69, who departed this life on April 11, 2026, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, after courageously battling rectal cancer for the past five years. Born on March 29, 1957, in Stoughton, MA, Robert was the beloved son of the late Karl and Ruth (Sundquist) Andersen.

Robert proudly earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Bentley University and dedicated his professional life to the field of finance as a tax manager for Clean Harbors. His keen intellect and unwavering work ethic were hallmarks of his character, and he will be remembered for his integrity and dedication to his profession.

A resident of Middleboro, MA, Robert was not only a devoted father to his son, Christopher Andersen, and daughter, Robyn Andersen, but also a passionate sports enthusiast. He found joy in hockey and skating, proudly cheering for the Boston Bruins and sharing his love for cars with family and friends.

Robert is survived by his cherished children, Christopher and Robyn, and his sister Marcia Banks, along with her husband Steve. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

The family will hold a memorial visitation in Robert's honor on April 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home. A time for sharing memories and tributes will conclude the visitation, offering friends and family the chance to celebrate Robert's remarkable life together.
