Sandra Elizabeth (Barnes) Lane

Sandi Elizabeth (Barnes) Lane, age 73, wife of William Frederick Lane, passed away Tuesday May 11, 2021 at Wingate at Silverlake in Kingston, after a month long period of failing health. Born on Friday December 5, 1947 in Norwood MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. Jr. and Alice E. (Bragg) Barnes. Sandi graduated from Randolph High School class of 1965, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston State College, class of 1969. A resident of Middleboro, formerly of Randolph, Sandi was a school teacher for several different schools, Otis Air Force Base School, Randolph Public Schools, and Middleboro Public Schools. Sandi enjoyed crafting, reading, traveling, gardening, camping, and most of all genealogy. In addition to her husband William, Sandi is survived by a daughter Heatherly (Lane) Sylvia and her husband David G. of Middleboro, two grandchildren Luke and Grace Sylvia, sisters Deborah A. (Barnes) Kiessling and her husband Gary of Easton, Penny A. (Barnes) Nikolsky and her husband Steven of Easton, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 21, 2021 at 3:00PM,at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville MA, 02347. Memorial visitation will take place from 1:00 – 3:00PM prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandi’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School P.O.Box 89 Chamberlain, SD 57325-0089.
