Sharron R. Kasianowicz, 62, of Middleboro, formerly of Halifax and Northampton, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving family by her side on Sunday January 30, 2022.
Sharron is survived by her husband of 39 years Robert Kasianowicz of Middleboro, MA, daughter Kristin DuBois and husband Jay of Middleboro, daughter Courtney Goodrich and husband Daniel of North Easton, daughter Jennifer Almeida and husband Josh of Lakeville, and grandchildren Olivia and Luke DuBois and Lillian and Harrison Goodrich, whom she loved dearly and doted most of her time on. She is also survived by siblings Jolene Bergeron, Scott Houle, Tracy Kiernan, and Shawn Houle, step-mother Dorothy Houle, aunt Judith Johnson, cousin Judette Savino, lifelong best friend Nadia Salemi, and many nieces, nephews, and family members. She was also predeceased by a sibling Edward Houle Jr.
Sharron was born on July 26, 1959 to Sonja (Carlberg) Houle and Edward Houle Sr., both deceased. She grew up in Northampton where she went to grade school and became an accomplished ballerina. She moved to Halifax and graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School class of 1977, attended the John Robert Powers modeling agency in Boston, and graduated from the Wilma Boyd Airline and Travel School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was offered a job with American Airlines based out of Phoenix, AZ, but turned it down and accepted an engagement proposal from her Robert (Bob) on Christmas day 1980 and was married in June of 1983. Bob would tell everyone he married way over his head.
Sharron and Bob built a home in Middleboro in 1984 and have been there ever since. Sharron became a full time mother to three beautiful daughters/best friends, Kristin, Courtney, and Jennifer. Sharron was very involved in all her girls’ activities, including dance, Girl Scouts, cheerleading, soccer, softball, and swimming.
Sharron had many talents and hobbies and was an expert seamstress. She took on side jobs throughout her life, including crafting many dance recital costumes for her girls’ dance studio from scratch. She also worked part time for Sewfisticated and Joann Fabrics, where she enjoyed talking with customers about their projects. If she wasn’t busy sewing, we knew we could find her cooking with her many kitchen appliances or beading the most beautiful pieces of jewelry that she would gift to all of her loved ones.
Sharron will be remembered for her easy going, friendly, endlessly loyal personality with an overwhelming sense of pride she had for her children, son-in-laws, and grandchildren. She was quick to share pictures and videos of her grandchildren to anyone she met at any time.
Visiting hours for Sharron will be held on Sunday February, 6, 2022 from 3:00 - 6:00PM, at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Church 340 Center Street, Middleboro, MA on Monday February 7, 2022 at 10:00AM, with a burial service at a later date.
