Timothy Amara, age 40, of Middleboro, passed away on June 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer. Born on January 9, 1985, in Boston, Tim was a proud graduate of Middleboro High School, class of 2003. Tim was known for his kind heart, steady presence, and deep love for sports. A dedicated fan and an active part of the sports world, Tim worked as a manager at TD Garden in Boston, where he took great pride in being part of the excitement that brought people together. Whether it was cheering on his favorite teams or sharing the experience with family and friends, sports were truly one of his greatest passions. Tim was also incredibly proud of the life he had built, especially his new home, an achievement that reflected his hard work, independence, and the future he was creating for himself. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his niece and nephews, especially playing sports and tossing the ball around in the yard. He loved family vacations and the memories they created together-whether celebrating his 40th birthday in Las Vegas, experiencing the magic of Disney and Disney Cruise adventures, or relaxing at the Red Jacket Resort on Cape Cod. These trips were filled with laughter, adventure, and moments Tim held close to his heart. Tim was the beloved son of Joseph Amara and the late Carolyn Amara, both of Middleboro. He was also blessed with a devoted stepmother, Susan Amara of Middleboro. He is survived by his loving sisters, Meaghan Whiteside and her husband Ryan of Middleboro, Nicole Burlingame and her husband Michael of West Wareham; his nephews, Brantley and Maverick Whiteside, and his niece, Hope Whiteside, all of Middleboro. Tim will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church 340 Center Street, Middleboro, on Monday June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will take place at Dahlborg MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, on Sunday June 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Tim will be laid to rest with his late mother Carolyn at The Parish Cemetery at The Green on Plymouth Street in Middleboro, following the funeral mass. In this time of sorrow, we remember and honor a remarkable man whose compassionate spirit and love for life will forever remain in our hearts.
