Todd D. Page

We are stunned and deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, bonus father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Todd Page. Resident of Middleboro, Massachusetts, Todd, age 68, “slipped the surly bonds of earth” late in the afternoon of Saturday, July 20, 2024, in a swimming accident on Long Pond in Lakeville, Massachusetts. The untimely loss of Todd’s quirky charm, generous heart, and boundless energy is devastating, to say the least.

Todd Daniel Page was born on November 1, 1955, to Evelyn (Evie) and Ivan (Ike) Page in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He and his younger brother, Scott, grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts. Todd loved sports and the outdoors from an early age. He joined Boy Scouts as a teen, first fell in love with golf when he caddied at the Norfolk Golf Club in Westwood and hit the slopes as often as he could throughout his school years (and beyond). 

Todd graduated from Dedham High School in 1973 and Middlebury College in 1978. After college he bartended in Laguna Beach, CA, then moved back to Massachusetts to begin work as a software engineer. Todd stayed with the same company for his entire career–though the company itself changed ownership and names three times. At the end of December 2023, Todd retired from Cullinet Software/Computer Associates/Broadcom having achieved the rank of Senior Software Engineer after decades working his way through nearly half-a-dozen positions in the firm. 

Before and during retirement, Todd was on the green every chance he could get, if there wasn’t snow on the ground. If there was, you’d find him on the slopes. If Todd wasn’t golfing or skiing or watching the games of any (or all) of the Boston sports teams, he was probably out on the water (or in it), or dancing, or singing along (in tune or out) or volunteering, or tending his garden, or joking around, or some combination of all the above. Todd Page was never one to just stand still.

Todd was active in community service and donated to a variety of causes. He regularly volunteered at the Sacred Heart Food Pantry in Middleboro. He and his wife Inez joined the Middleboro Lodge of Elks #1274 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America in November 2021. Todd loved helping with Bingo Night, and, as a runner verifying winning cards, he was a big hit with attendees. A crowning achievement for Todd was being inducted as the Tiler for the Elks in April of 2024. 

Todd was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn Marie (Coupe) Page and Ivan Nathan Page. He is survived by his wife, Inez, bonus daughter Erica and her husband Paul, grandchild Kai, brother Scott and his wife Karen, nephews Brady and Ryan and Ryan’s wife Lindsey, and a loving extended family.

We welcome all who knew Todd to join us in celebrating his life. Visiting hours will be held at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347, Thursday August 1, 2024, from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday August 2, 2024, at Saints Martha and Mary Church, 354 Bedford St, Lakeville, MA 02347 at 11 am, immediately followed by a repast at the Oak Point Club House, 202 Oak Point Drive, Middleborough, MA 02346. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust on Todd’s behalf.
