Victoria Patricia (Gilbert) MacInnis

Victoria Patricia (Gilbert) MacInnis, age 84, wife of the late Marshall J. MacInnis, passed away Saturday January 22, 2022, at her daughter Carol’s house in East Taunton, surrounded by her family, following a brief period of failing health. Born in Boston, MA, on Tuesday November 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Frances (Sullivan) Gilbert. A resident of Taunton, Victoria worked at various nursing homes and the Brockton VA Hospital as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She also worked at the Main Spring House, where she was the director of services, and held many other roles serving others. Victoria was a member of the former St. Margaret’s Church and St. Edwards Church in Brockton. She enjoyed volunteering at the many local bingo games as well as the Taunton Senior Center. Victoria also liked to play bingo, gamble, go shopping, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. Victoria is survived by her children, Marshall J. MacInnis, Jr., Debra Norvell and her husband Dean, Norma Guarino and her husband Michael, James MacInnis, Patricia Rosado and her husband August, Michael MacInnis and his wife Jennifer, Tina Nash and her husband Kenneth, Carol Luppino and her husband Michael, and her adopted daughter Cathy Dickinson and her husband Ron, aka “Dipshit”. She also leaves behind her sister Barbara Arsenault, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Victoria was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Clarence Gilbert, Dorothy Neault, Veronica Sharbuno, and Arthur Loveless. Visiting hours for Victoria will be held on Thursday January 27, 2022, from 5:00-8:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral home service will be held the following day Friday January 28, 2022, at 10:00AM. Victoria will be laid to rest with her late husband Marshall at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton following the funeral service.
