She worked for Shaw’s Supermarket in various roles, ultimately retiring as a manager with several awards for outstanding service. An active member of Sts. Martha & Mary Church in Lakeville, Vivian made many lifelong friends and who were by her side until the end. Vivian loved vacationing with her husband Eddie and their friends and often cruised to new locations. She loved the outdoors and was passionate about animals and wildlife. She was deeply involved with the Lakeville Council on Aging and often played cards and other games with her friends there. Vivian was philanthropic and donated to multiple animal charities. She loved to cook for her family and shared that love in the kitchen with her nieces. She never missed her game shows, religiously watching them every evening and looked forward to her daily calls with her niece Muriel. She kept up on family news and was so proud of her nieces’ accomplishments, often clipping articles from the newspaper.
