Wilrod MacLeod

Wilrod MacLeod, age 94 and husband of the late Georganna W. (Dawson) MacLeod, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleborough. Born on Sunday, October 26, 1930, in the former Broughton Nova Scotia Canada, Wilrod was the son of the late Rodrick A. MacLeod and Flora C. (MacQueen) MacLeod and attended school in Glace Bay Nova Scotia. A member of the Silver City Baptist Church in Taunton, Wilrod was a longtime resident of Middleborough, and worked as a self-employed carpenter. Wilrod is survived by children Alex MacLeod and his wife Marlene of Raynham, Don MacLeod and his wife Debbie of Carver and Diane MacLeod of Oakland, ME, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Wilrod was predeceased by his son William Rodrick MacLeod. A graveside service for Wilrod will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:00AM, at Blue Hill Cemetery 700 West Street Braintree, MA 02184.
