Music by The Piano Brothers

Our mother, Rita (Duval) Robillard was called home on Friday, March 31st after suffering a long illness to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.   Mom was 92 years old, however, for the last five years of her life, has insisted she was only eighty years old.    Mom's sense of humor remained with her thoughout the 'eighty' years,  a part of her character that warmed everyone's heart.   She was a kind and gentle spirit always ready and eager to help someone, or comfort her grandchildren with her delicious home-baked cookies and treats.  The loves of her life began with our dad Roland (Roby) Robillard, her 'sailor boy' who predeceased her by 30 years.   She is survived by two daughters, Celeste of Fairhaven and June and her husband Danny of Lakeville with whom she made her home for 27 years after moving from the town of Acushnet.

Her grandchildren were the wind beneath her wings, and in order they are Jodie, Mikey, Doug, Karen, Amy and Greg.  Thank you for getting her airborn on so many occasions and for the joy you brought her.   Her one great grandchild brought many smiles to her face in these last couple years, so thank you little Annie for making her feel young and beautiful by combing her hair each time you were together and for speaking loud enough for her to hear you.

A very special thank you to her dearest friend Phyllis of over fifty years for all you have done for her.   God bless you Phyllis.   She loved you very much.

And last but not least, she leaves behind her furry companion, an 'old' cat named Buzz who perhaps is the one that's actually 92.

Mom was also predeceased by her sister Pauline, a resident of Florida and more recently by her little brother Normand 'Sonny' Duval of Rochester.  She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Steward Hospice for their gentle and kind attention.

Mom, no one will every forget you.  Your love and example is indelibly stamped on our hearts for eternity.

Rest in His Peace.

Love, Celeste and June

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Please accept our condolences, Aunt Rita will not be forgotten. Ron has fond memories of his "candy" connection at a young age and a sweet lady with an infectious laugh as an adult. May her soul rest in peace and our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
