Josie & I are so lost for words over Gerry's untimely passing. My best friend for many years. He was my Army mentor and fellow Sergeant Major. A wealth of knowledge. Always with his "hands in the cookie jar" , smile on his face. You'll be sorely missed by the many people that knew you. Many wonderful memories together. May you rest in peace, Sergeant Major.....

So sad to hear about Gerry's passing, I grew up next door and Gerry would always let me play in the yard. He would show me the Koi fish in the pond and help me pick cherries from his tree. Wonderful neighbor. Wishing all the best to Margarete and the family.
