Music by The Piano Brothers

Elizabeth Yeatts 92 of Lakeville Massachusetts died on June 26, 2018 at home, surrounded by family and friends. Born in New London Connecticut, she graduated from the Williams School in 1943. Married to a Navy Officer, Elizabeth lived in many different places including Rhode Island, Vermont, Florida, Hawaii and California during her husbands Naval career and raised 2 daughters.

Elizabeth was always an advocate for the mentally challenged and in the 1960's started the first Girl Scout troups in Rhode Island and Vermont to include mentally challenged scouts.

After her Children were grown, Elizabeth started her own business in La Mesa, California where she lived for 36 years. "Elizabeth's Attic" Antique Shop was very successful and she was a well known expert in her field.

Dancing was Elizabeth's passion and she danced the nights away well into her 80's. She loved all different kinds of music and she and her dancing partner Ted taught ballroom dancing for years.

In 1993 she purchased a home in Lakeville on Assawompsett Pond near her daughter, and came there every summer until 2010 when she came to stay year round. Elizabeth was a faithful member of St's Martha and Mary church in Lakeville.

Elizabeth is survived by her 2 daughters, Nancy Yeatts and her husband Thomas Cleverly and Diana Yeatts all of Lakeville.

Visitation will take place on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 10 AM - 12 noon with a service to follow at 12 Noon in the Dahlborg MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford, Lakeville, MA
