Lois J. (Mostrom) Dow, 85 of Lakeville, MA passed away May 14, 2020 at Stafford Hill Assisted living.  She was the cherished wife of the late Curtis Dow.

Born October 28, 1934 in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Dan and Ruth (Oldrich) Mostrom.

Lois received her Teaching Certificate in Elementary Ed from Curry College formerly “The Perry Normal School”.  She grew up in Brockton and had lived in Lakeville for almost 60 years and was an Elementary School Teacher in Pembroke.

Lois belonged to the Sachem Steppers Square Dance Club, the Cabot Club of Middleboro, Central Congregational Church Religious Education, the Lakeville Hospital Associates, a Girl Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Leader.

Lois was a very talented artist, painting for many years at the Middleboro Council of Aging Art Studio and a skilled crafter who designed and crafted beautiful Christmas ornaments for her family and friends each year.  She was also affiliated with the Central Congregational Church and The Church of the Green both in Middleboro.

She is survived by 3 children Robert Dow and his wife Cindy Lou of Lakeville, Cynthia Geib of Indiana and William Dow and his wife Amy of Lakeville; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Jeannette Bricknell of Middleboro and Pauline Mostrom of Mattapoisett; a sister-in-law Lorraine Mostrom and many nieces and nephews.

At this time all services are private with a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
