Music by The Piano Brothers

Pelagia Wysokinski was a sweet and independent woman. Although she suffered through the ordeals of WWll, she maintained an innate kindness and always saw the positive side of people. Pela was born in Poland. She later traveled to England and then to the United States when she was in her 20s.

Pela was married for 45 years to Michael and later widowed. She has one daughter, Krystyna Puljanowski, with whom she resided for 25 years. She loved time with her grandchildren, Vikki Jones and  Jim Puljanowski. She also cherished her great-grandchildren: Sydney, Gwen, Emily, and James.

Pela worked for many years as seamstress and later at Regis college.  She relished simple pleasures, such as:  gardening, knitting, having tea, sitting in the sun, chatting with neighbors, and long walks.

Two years ago, as her health declined, Pela moved to Oakhill Nursing Home. She passed away there at the age of 94.

There will be a private memoria servicel for the family at a later date.
