Patricia A. (Curran) Rand, 64, of Lakeville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 10, 2020. She was the beloved wife of  Edward R. Rand.

Born in Boston, MA on March 10, 1956, she was raised in Weymouth by the late Daniel W. Curran and the late Doris W. (Wells) Curran.

She attended Framingham University after high school, earning her Associates Degree. Later, she attended Bridgewater State University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She lived in Lakeville for the past 22 years where she owned and operated her family childcare center, Little Sprouts 3. She was a daycare provider for over 30 years and worked at many centers and impacted many children's lives. Pat had the gift of hospitality and her home was always welcome to friends and visitors. She always had time to talk and listen, helping with advice or a listening ear. Many nights she played host to Bible studies, friends of her children, and family events. But her passion was her family. She was a devoted wife and mother and spent so much time planning trips, helping with homework, and solving life's problems. Her ministry continued past her family and the families of her daycare and into the churches she served at over the years. She held leadership positions in the church nursery, children's ministry, and women's ministry. She was an active member at Lakeville Family Worship before she passed.

She is survived by her adoring children Elizabeth C. Rand, Edward L. Rand, and Joseph D. Rand and his wife Jeanne J. Rand, all of Lakeville. She is survived by her family Alexandra Connell of Dartmouth and Collette Connell of Dartmouth. She is survived by her grandchildren, Reagan, Willow, Maeve, and Saosire. She is also survived by her siblings Daniel M. Curran of Weymouth, Maureen Curran of Marshfield, Ann Melanson of Westborough, and countless nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Monday, August 17th at Lifehouse Church, 17 Jericho Rd. Middleboro from 4pm - 8pm.

A Celebration service will be held on August 18th at Lifehouse Church. 17 Jericho Rd. Middleboro at 10:30am.
